Wayne Dodobird Besen’s ragged defense (so far)
So far the RAD Report has presented seven real people who self identify as exhomosexuals, exgays, exlesbians, et al in response to arch exgay enemy Wayne Besen’s fantastical claim that such people do not exist. Just seven so far. At issue: Besen’s claim that exgays are “as rare as the dodobird”.
As soon as we put this blog up, Besen came running, like a moth to the flame, barely able to contain himself. His arrogant narcissism was on full display as he sought to first debate (with a spritz of childish humor), then sensing failure, reroute the main issue via several pitiful replies. Let’s summarize them, shall we?
1. These people aren’t exgays, they are still gay.
RAD: This is a laughable rachet-style accusation devoid of substance. A person’s own voluntary self identification is proof enough to substantiate their reality.
2. They look gay.
RAD: What’s “looking gay? Having two eyes, a mouth and wearing clothes? If looks were the sole determinant of one’s identity, we could easily say that Wayne Besen is a pedophile.
3. They are only exgay because of “fundamentalist” Christianity.
RAD: One’s vehicle to freedom is valid because the person CHOSE it. Whether a man got out of prison because he did his time or he got out because he dug a hole under the wall, is irrelevant. The FACT is he got out.
4. Look! Look over here! I’ve found “exgay survivors”.
RAD: Three words: distraction, distraction, distraction. Its because Mr. Besen knows his lie has no legs.
5. What are you afraid of? Why are you censoring?
RAD: Juvenile pout point. Its for your own good Wayne. Youve played your distraction cards already so we want to see if you have anything of substance related to the issue at hand. Be a grown man and present a logic, reasonable defense to your lies.
In the words of Buddha Gotama, “When one feels no shame in telling a deliberate lie, there is no evil, I tell you, he will not do.”
Wayne Besen’s shameless and deliberate lies about former homosexuals make him a danger to himself and the public at large.

So, if Besen is a “liar” for saying there were no ex-gays, what is Chris Doyle when he promised to bring “tens of thousands of ex-gays to Washington” but delivered seven people? Let’s remember those few people were paid staffers, too.
Thanks for acknowledging that Besen is indeed a liar. His nihilistic statement that “no exgays exist” can be proven false by just ONE exhomosexual. Just one is all it takes. If just one dodo bird was in existence anyone who made a statement that no dodo birds exist would be a liar. You said that seven exhomosexuals were at this event. By your own admission Besen is a liar seven times over. Whether such individuals are “paid staffers” is a moot issue if not irrelevant altogether. If he can tell such a delusional lie about exgays, its more than likely he is lying about the great majority of things he is saying. At this point, its doubtful whether he is even gay himself.
